Inauguration-Puja for our Community Development Center

The Bachan Community Development Center, which we are building in the Indian Himalayan region around Chamoli as part of a joint project with Gebeco and Fernweh Fair Travel, has now been officially inaugurated. The opening was celebrated with an Indian puja ceremony.

New Digital Training Strengthens Human Rights in Tourism

Futouris e.V. and the Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism have developed a digital training course on human rights due diligence in tourism in cooperation with well-known tourism companies, associations and organizations. The training is the result of a project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the private sector. The training aims to raise awareness of human rights and sustainable business practices in tourism.

Regenerative agriculture meets tourism on Rhodes

The findings and activities from our joint project with the TUI Care Foundation on Crete will be transferred and applied on Rhodes with the aim of supporting farmers in their transition to regenerative cultivation methods.

Harvest Time in Crete

In our joint project with the TUI Care Foundation and SFDO, we support regenerative agriculture in Crete. An agricultural school is also involved, with students applying their learned expertise in school gardens. The first harvest has now been successfully completed.

Sustainability in Focus: Practical Training for FAIRWEG

In a 6-part digital workshop series for the employees of FAIRWEG offices, practical knowledge on sustainable travel is provided. The goal is to equip travel advisors with the expertise needed to create more climate-friendly travel offerings and to advise customers on relevant sustainability topics
